Seeing through the eyes of a child is an invitation to enter a place of wonder, an experience of surprise, admiration, beauty and curiosity.

Everyone, young and old, has experienced seeing through the eyes of a child including those without physical sight.  No one has become an adult without first being a child.  Our childhood foundation of wonder and unconditional loving is part of who we are as an individual.

Through the years, both personally and professionally, I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of cultures, situations, circumstances and environments that help support a thriving family, community and society.  There is a bottom-line to this success and I identify it as “unconditional positive regard” also known inside of me as “unconditional loving”, a childhood quality we all possess or have possessed at one time.

I challenged myself, “Jane, look through the eyes of the children.  Watch, listen, observe—what do you see, feel, know?”  I see a place where our natural human nature thrives when we connect with nature, each other, listen and are heard while respecting different points of view.  I see The Gratitude Meadow, a place of wonder and exploration, a place to visit. Within this lovely meadow, everyone is welcome.  Where is it you may ask?  It is inside each one of us if we care to visit—it is our basic human nature, unconditional loving.
